Donate Stock

A number of our supporters make gifts of stocks, bonds or securities. By donating stocks that have risen in value since you purchased them, donors get the full tax benefit of their current value and avoid the capital gains taxes normally paid if they were sold.

According to Schwab policy, if you have a Schwab Account, you need only mail them a note stating that you authorize them to make a stock transfer to AIDS Research Alliance. If you do not have a Schwab Account, you will have to contact your individual investment company and give them this information.
